Cooke Maroney is the art gallery director at New York's Gladstone Gallery (the gallery's other location is in Brussels). The contemporary art gallery represents more than 50 artists, with some names including Lena Dunham‘s dad, Carroll Dunham, Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, Ugo Rondinone and Bjork’s ex, Matthew Barney.
He studied at NYU
A true Northeastern, Maroney moved to New York from Vermont to study art history at NYU.
They started dating in June 2018
Page Six reported that Lawrence and Maroney began dating in June 2018, thanks to a little matchmaking from J.Law's bestie, Laura Simpson.
Previously, Lawrence dated actor Nicholas Hoult from 2010 to 2014. She then was linked to Mother! director Darren Aronofsky from November 2016 to October 2017.

According to The Cut, a source said Maroney "goes to a lot of art-world parties." But don't worry guys, Lawrence isn't getting legally wed to some party animal. The source continues, "He’s definitely fun-loving but I wouldn’t say he’s out of control. He likes to have fun, a young good new York guy who likes to participate and have fun. When we would hang out we would definitely drink, we would have fun." I think it's safe to conclude Cooke Maroney likes to have fun.
