Walk up to Plow in San Francisco’s sunny Potrero Hill neighborhood and what you’ll witness is a large mass of eager people waiting for a table to enjoy brunch. This isn’t any ordinary brunch spot, this is the place to go when you want to impress out-of-towners or the in-laws. I love the simplicity of the space and menu selection. This neighborhood joint definitely represents what San Francisco is all about: quality ingredients at a place that feels like home. (Courtesy of Peter Belanger Photography)
What to wear: Make it easy like a Sunday morning in wide-leg jeans and a loose crochet top. Throw on wedges and baubles for a brunch with friends. I like to keep it "classic casual" with a striped tee and light-washed denim.
What to order: You can’t come here without trying the lemon ricotta pancakes. I usually order "The Plow,” which includes eggs, a choice of meat, potatoes and the lemon ricotta pancakes.
Pro tip: With a nice range of outdoor seating, pups are welcome and Plow even provides blankets to diners on chilly mornings. They do not accept reservations and so be prepared to wait on the weekends. Click here to continue the tour of San Francisco.
