Emma Watson has teamed with Italian designer
Alberta Ferretti to launch an eco-friendly capsule collection, Pure Threads, made up of five pieces: two dresses, a shirt, a long skirt and a pair of denim shorts. The designs are simple, comfortable and decorated with lace accents for a feminine touch—it wouldn't be an Alberta Ferretti collection without lace!
While Emma aims to increase environmental awareness, Ferretti was seeking to create an ecologically sound collection of dresses. Perfect!
Pieces retail from $340 for the denim shorts to $1,010 for a dress. Pricey, but it's for a good cause: Partial proceeds will go to the People Tree Foundation, which focuses on Fair Trade worldwide.
