Well, it's official. Winter wonderland has officially embraced the East Coast and Midwest, and even much of the West is experiencing chillier than usual climes. Even if you're not a fan of the cold, there is a definite upside to the cool weater: hats. Yes, hats. And while we adore our structured, upscale millinery (think: fedoras), we also love to have fun with our hats. (Think: poofy fur hats, bright beanies, and more.) Vivacious hats are also a great excuse to take style just a wee less seriously and have some fun.

Here are a few celeb inspirations of fun hat time. Just yesterday in chilly NYC, the lovely Maggie Gyllenhaall was spotted in this black fur number alongside her husband Peter Sarsgaard.
