You've curated the perfect soundtrack on Spotify. You've lit tea lights in empty jam jars. You've prepped the soufflés—and purchased artisanal chocolates with sea salt as a back-up dessert, in case the soufflés don't rise.

You've come a long way since the days of melting shredded cheese on tortilla chips. Now, the only thing left to do for your super sophisticated dinner party is get dressed. Well cross that one off the list, because we have your outfit sorted: mix one full skirt (adds a sense of occasion, and a tongue-in-cheek acknowledgment that dinner parties are totally retro) with an embroidered shirt (for a homespun touch), then finish with a classic red lip and skip the shoes. (Because it's weird to wear heels in your own house.)

Shop the domestic goddess look below, inspired by Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner (pictured up top), who modeled a simlliar style at this year's BAFTA Craft Awards. Warning: if your dinner party is Game of Thrones–themed, this look does not apply.
