The pixelated prints were in full force at the Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 show, where designers Jack McCollough
and Lazaro Hernandez
showcased a collection of ultra-modern frocks and separates in deep orange, red and yellow hues, apparently inspired by a trip out West.
Many of the prints featured could have passed for imitations of Native American graphics, albeit digitized and pixelated on luxurious, weighty fabrics.
