The pixelated prints were in full force at the Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 show, where designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez showcased a collection of ultra-modern frocks and separates in deep orange, red and yellow hues, apparently inspired by a trip out West.

Many of the prints featured could have passed for imitations of Native American graphics, albeit digitized and pixelated on luxurious, weighty fabrics. Starkly geometrical pieces were given an extra dimension with surprising textured touches like exposed zippers and barely-there cut-outs.
