Sips and Tips: Mexican Eggnog and a Touch of Sparkle Manicure. (Source: Dana Burke/StyleBistro)We here at StyleBistro are big proponents of enjoying the little things in life—from a tasty treat to a fresh manicure. So we decided to pair two of our favorite indulgences for a new series we're calling Sips and Tips. In these deliciously fun articles we'll share with you a recipe for one of our favorite drinks of the moment, as well as a manicure inspired by the beverage of choice. Think of it as just another way to incorporate personal style into every part of your life.

We've already given you a crisp cider cocktail to help transition you into fall, but now that cold temps are upon us, we're looking to spice things up with a Mexican eggnog and equally dazzling manicure. Our friends at Sauza Tequila provided us with a recipe for an unforgettable eggnog that will keep your senses stirred this holiday season. To match our bold cocktail, we hit up Valley nails in NYC to curate a pretty manicure we're calling, A Touch of Sparkle. Get the recipe for the zesty drink as well as the DIY for this gorgeous mani below.

RGB nail polish in Buff ($18)
HIPP X RGB nail polish in f4 ($18)
Striping brush ($6)
Clear nail polish ($2)
Brown glitter
Tin Foil

Apply your favorite base coat to start. Next apply two to three coats of your favorite off-white polish—or RBG's Buff—on all ten nails. Let dry. Next, dab a rich chocolate brown polish on the tin foil. Dip a thin striping brush into the brown polish. Choose one accent nail on each hand and make one line down nail and one line across nail to mimic the cinnamon sticks in the eggnog. Let dry. Put clear polish on tinfoil and sprinkle brown glitter on. Swirl glitter onto nails. (Tip: Make sure lines have dried before swirling onto accent nail.)
