Last week, Gisele Bundchen
angered dermatologists around the world when she reportedly sniffed of SPF products, "I cannot put this poison on my skin."
After considerable backlash, Gisele's reps are speaking out against what they've deemed a misquotation. "They misquoted her due to a language barrier," a spokesperson told People.
"Gisele would never say not to use sunscreen because she has family members who have died of skin cancer."
Gisele—who told reporters she avoids sunlight between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., when U.V. rays are strongest—does use sunscreen. Organic sunscreen: "When using sunscreens she selects ones that are free of parabens, oxybenzone, PABA and retinyl palmitate ...
