Livingly Media, the San Francisco-based women’s lifestyle digital publisher, today announced that its Board of Directors has named Erica Carter as Chief Executive Officer and appointed her to its Board, effective April 14, 2017. Since its acquisition by aufeminin Group two years ago, Livingly Media has driven growth and achieved profitability, with year-over-year revenues increasing more than 50% in 2016.
Erica Carter has served as Livingly Media’s SVP and General Manager since 2015 and has been responsible for its marketing, operations, analytics, and finance functions. She joined the company in 2013 as its first Head of Finance. Erica has been essential to the company’s growth and success and has demonstrated a passion for the brands, commitment to her colleagues, and drive to deliver consistent revenue and marketing results. She has extensive experience with lifestyle brands in prior management roles at One Kings Lane and Williams-Sonoma, Inc., and began her career at Ernst & Young LLP.

Christophe Decker, COO of parent company aufeminin Group and Livingly Media board member, will also assume responsibilities as Livingly’s COO. He relocated to San Francisco in an advisory role in 2015 following the Group’s acquisition of Livingly Media . Christophe joined aufeminin Group in 2005 and has managed product development, technology and innovation, and traffic acquisition operations during his tenure.
Bruce Martin and Jill Slattery round out Livingly Media’s executive team. Bruce serves as Livingly Media’s CTO , focusing on the performance, reliability and flexibility of technical systems. Bruce has 25 years of experience in engineering and software development. Prior to joining Livingly in 2006 , he was an architect at LookSmart, Ltd and an engineering lead at SAIC . As Editor in Chief, Jill is responsible for maintaining the voice and vision of all of Livingly Media’s brands, and she is driven to keep finding new and innovative ways to engage readers with content they love. Jill started her career in digital media with Livingly Media in 2011, initially as Zimbio.com’s TV editor and later as its Managing Editor.
Long-time executives Tony Mamone (CEO and Founder) , Danny Khatib (COO and Founder), and Cleve Pasarell (VP Product) are stepping down from their roles in a planned departure two years following the aufeminin Group acquisition. “I would like to personally thank the founders for their leadership, strategic vision, and thoughtful transition,“said Sauty de Chalon. “I wish them the best in their next venture."
