Royal wedding dress watchers now have an added twist to their attempts to discover Kate Middleton
's wedding dress designer—she's going to wear two of them. Bruce Oldfield
is also probably not designing either of them.
By going on a publicity spree and chatting up a storm, Bruce has just about confirmed he won't be taking credit for the dress. He made an appearance on Good Morning America
, talking about Kate's dress and what he thinks it'll look like. Bruce's prediction is Kate will wear not one, but two dresses for the wedding: a conservative one for the walk down the aisle, then a flashier more daring one for the reception and party. He says: I'm sure the dress is going to be modest in terms of coverage. It has to be, you know? It will have sleeves, it has to have sleeves. You can't walk down Westminster Abbey in a strapless dress — it just won't happen. And it has to suit the grandeur of the aisle — it's enormous.
Bruce also thinks a veil will be part of her ensemble, given how poignant Diana's was. What do you think, will Bruce's predictions come true?
