Anne Hathaway is one of Hollywood's most consistently well-dressed stars, thanks to her work with celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. But even the brightest and most beautiful can have a flop or two—usually when they're playing with street style trends that don't always translate well to the red carpet.

On Friday, the lovely Ms. Hathaway slipped on a Marni cropped sweater over a pair of ruffled blue print high-waisted pants to attend the Sneak "Beak" Screening of the upcoming animated film Rio in Los Angeles. With her recently-lightened locks worn loose and straight, Anne put forth her strongest pose in chunky wooden-heeled sandals. A modern statement necklace added to the overall eclecticism.
