InStyle party at the Toronto Film Festival and paired with her draped jersey frock, it gave her a relaxed yet sophisticated aire. Malin's laid-back updo also allowed Malin to pick a more daring dress, with a plunging neckline and revealing back.
If you've been contemplating a messy updo, here are a few tips to ensure you look chic not schleppy:
- Consider what you're wearing. A messy updo with jeans and a tee is perfectly fine for a trip to the grocery store, but for a more formal event make sure one aspect of your outfit is polished and dressy.
- Plan it out. Don't just pull your hair into a ponytail and call it a day. Despite looking slightly messy, these updos are actually planned out and artfully arranged.
