Two American women are better than one. As such, designer Cynthia Rowley
(above left) has joined forces with Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn
to design a series of helmets for Lindsey to wear when the skiier (above right) competes in the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
Cynthia and Lindsey, also longtime pals, have narrowed the playing field down to four contenders. There's Speed of Light, Snow Leopard, Go for the Gold, amd Winged Victory. The stylish helmets are the epitome of fashion and function; all pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. As of today, you can vote for your favorite on Lindsey Vonn’s Facebook page

“I wanted to find a way to involve the fans in this exciting chapter in my life," explained Lindsey, who is a World Cup alpine ski racer on the US Ski Team, and
the first American woman to win the gold medal in downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and
has won four overall World Cup championships. "Partnering with Cynthia on the design component was such an obvious choice for me given her talents and our friendship.”
