Another day, another Karl Lagerfeld no-filter moment.

The Chanel Creative Director is quoted in the latest issue of Spanish Marie Claire calling Francois Hollande, the President of France, an "idiot." Yes, an idiot.

"This idiot will be as disastrous as Zapatero was," Lagerfeld was quoted saying. "It's a disaster. He wants to punish [the rich] and of course they leave and no one invests. Foreigners don't want to invest in France and that's just not going to work."

Since his inauguration, Hollande has increased taxes on corporations and the wealthy in an attempt to reduce the French deficit. Hollande recently set a 75 percent income tax on French taxpayers earning over a million euros annually.

"Outside of fashion, jewelry, perfume, and wine, France isn't competitive," Lagerfeld said. "The rest of our products don't sell. Who buys French cars? I don't."
