This happened.
Sending what looks like Picasso art come-to-life down the runway at Paris Fashion Week, Victor&Rolf left the rest of us scratching our real-life heads.
The designs started small(er) with facial details coming out of mini-dresses and grew in size and complexity until the models were completely costumed leaving some questioning whether they could even see the runway.
Whether or not these pieces are supposed to actually translate to ready-to-wear looks from the fashion house, they definitely are completely unique and, perhaps inventive(?), when compared to the other Haute Couture shows going on around Paris.
Regardless of functionality, the creativity is there, the detailing is impeccably done and the structure of the designs is unmatched.
Do you think we'll see any of these V&R creations on the red carpet this awards season? I'm lookin' at you, Gaga!
