Emmanuelle Alt Is Officially the New Editor of 'Vogue Paris' Emmanuelle Alt
It's official: Emmanuelle Alt has been named the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris. She succeeds Carine Roitfeld as the second stylist to ever hold the position, and will appear at the top of the April masthead.

Emmanuelle, the magazine's current fashion director, has ten years of experience working at Vogue and joined the magazine at the same time as Carine. As a team, the magazine's circulation increased and it received worldwide critical acclaim. Given the similarities between Emmanuelle and Carine's styles, radical changes are not expected at the magazine—she was the stylist for many of Carine's most noted editorial spreads. Conde Nast France president Xavier Romatet, said this about Emmanuelle:
Vogue Paris is doing very well, and I wanted to entrust the editorship to someone who can provide continuity while bringing new life.
While some might breath a sigh of relief at this news, others have expressed that they were actually hoping for a switchup at the magazine. What do you think of the appointment?
