Tom Ford.
In December of last year, Carine famously put Tom on the cover of the issue, celebrating his return to women's fashion. But apparently this was the last straw for advertisers and higher ups, with whom Carine was already skating on thin ice due to her frequent absence and controversies. This then led to Carine's resignation and the eventual appointment of
Emmanuelle Alt as successor.
Things are reportedly icy between the two former co-workers, but it seems Emmanuelle has learned from Carine's mistakes and has given up her styling jobs for Balmain and Isabel Marant. What do you think, did Tom lead to Carine's departure?
