It's been said many, many times, but the absolute best way to lose weight is a managed diet and exercise program. Diet and exercise. Diet and exercise. Without that combination, any other weight loss program is bound to be a disappointment, as the weight will come back the minute one steps off the plan.

Kelly Osbourne recently wowed her fans with a dramatic weight loss, dropping several sizes by committing to 30 minutes of exercise a day, with a managed eating plan. There's no healthier way! Here are some simple ways to live a healthier lifestyle:

1. Replace all beverages with water: By cutting out soda, juice, alcohol and other unnecessary beverages out of your daily routine, you'll be amazed at how many calories you'll cut! Not only do these beverages contain high amounts of sugar, but their carbonation also leads to belly bloat. If you're not stoked about drinking H20 all day long, try squeezing a bit of fresh lemon or orange in your water to capture a sweet and natural flavor.

2. Portion control: Next time you eat out, ask your server to box half of your meal before serving you. Not only will you be left with tasty leftovers, but this will ensure you don't overindulge.

3. Get off the couch: Sure it's tempting to lounge on the couch after a long day of work. However, a mere 30 minutes a day (the length of an average sitcom) is all it takes to rev up your heartrate and promote weight loss. Quick tip: the fastest way to lose weight isn't to limit yourself to the treadmill. Lifting weights has been shown to increase the amount of calories you burn for the rest of the day!
